Achieving a balance between professional and personal life is a growing challenge in
modern workplaces. In academia, remarkably Professors, are endured in their profession
with multifaceted roles and responsibilities such as focused on teaching, evaluating
student learning, mentoring, conducting research, and administrative responsibilities.
While the Work-Life Balance (WLB) is widely recognized as a key factor in employee
well-being, the role of organizational virtuousness in strengthening this relationship
remains unexplored. This study investigates the mediating role of organizational
virtuousness in relationship between work-life balance and employee well-being among
college professors. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional design, the sample includes
(N= 61) male 27 , female 34 professors from government and private colleges and
analyzed using correlation, ANOVA, t-tests, and mediation analysis. Findings revealed
that organizational virtuousness significantly mediates the relationship between worklife
balance and employee well-being. The present study highlights the need for
institutions to implement structured work-life balance initiatives while embedding ethical
decision making and compassionate workplace practices generate a thriving academic
environment and flourish well-being
