The study aims to assess psychological wellbeing, perceived social support, and selfesteem
among rural and urban Homemakers residing in Karnataka. A sample of 126
Homemakers with 64 Homemakers from rural areas and 62 Homemakers from urban
areas participated in the study. Ryff ’s Scales of Psychological Wellbeing,
Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale
were utilized for data collection. Inferential statistics were performed based on normality
of the data to assess the differences in psychological wellbeing, perceived social
support, and self-esteem. The results revealed that there was no significant difference
in psychological wellbeing, perceived social support, and self-esteem among rural and
urban Homemakers
