The study examines the impact of workplace incivility and organizational cynicism on
employee well-being, focusing on the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS),
life satisfaction, flourishing, and overall well-being. The sample comprised 400 individuals
from the Telecommunication sector. Significant negative correlations were found between
experienced incivility, all forms of cynicism, and well-being measures. Hierarchical
regression analyses revealed that workplace incivility significantly predicted negative
outcomes across all well-being measures. Organizational cynicism also emerged as a
strong negative predictor, influencing PANAS, life satisfaction, flourishing, and overall
well-being. Among the dimensions of cynicism, affective cynicism consistently showed
significant negative effects on well-being, while behavioral cynicism had no significant
impact. These findings underscore the detrimental effects of workplace incivility and
cynicism on employee well-being.
